The display shows 100 while the actual speed is 95, which is normal. The car's speedometer is usually set to show 3-5 kilometers higher than the actual speed.

When you set the speed to 100, it will maintain that speed unless there's a car in front of you. In that case, the ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) will reduce the speed based on the distance you set.

To activate the cruise control on the MX-5 NC, first make sure you're driving at your desired speed. Then, locate the cruise control button on your steering wheel or stalk and press it to turn on the system. Once activated, you should see a cruise control indicator light on your dashboard. Adjust the speed using the "Set" or "Resume" buttons as needed.

The difference between canceling cruise control and turning off cruise control in a Patrol is essentially about how the system is deactivated. Canceling cruise control is a temporary deactivation, allowing you to resume the set speed later, while turning off cruise control completely deactivates the system until you set it up again.

The difference between the "Cancel Cruise" and "Turn Off Cruise" buttons on the steering wheel of a Patrol is as follows: - **Cancel Cruise**: This button temporarily deactivates the cruise control while keeping the set speed in memory. You can resume the cruise control to the previously set speed later without having to set it again. - **Turn Off Cruise**: This button completely deactivates the cruise control system and clears the set speed from memory. To use cruise control again, you would need to set the speed anew.

The issue with the cruise control not holding could be due to several reasons. While the indicator light on the dashboard shows that the cruise control is activated, it might not maintain the set speed.
