Do any of you hear a humming sound when the car is parked? I just noticed it recently. Didn't pay much attention during the summer, but someone mentioned it and now I notice it. They said it's the water pump circulating.

I thought this car wouldn't be available in China, so I didn't pay much attention to it. I really love it, but I'm too broke to afford it. 🥺
The gear lever on this company car is problematic. After shifting to reverse, the detent stays in the engaged position even when you return it to neutral. You have to push it down to disengage. I didn't pay attention today, and when coasting downhill while pressing the clutch, I directly shifted to first gear without pushing the detent down. As a result, the car stalled and now it won't start at all.
Model X, 40,000 km. There's a consistent humming noise from the rear wheels while driving, most noticeable at speeds of 35-40 km/h. You can feel a slight vibration in the floor when sitting in the back seat. I've been to the dealership a couple of times for this, and the last time, the technician confirmed the noise. After checking, they said the half axles are fine and concluded it's due to tire aging. I've heard that 21-inch tires tend to wear unevenly and might need replacement around 40,000 km. The tires only have 40,000 km on them, and the tread still looks clear. Is this really possible?
4I'm considering buying a used diesel Grand Cherokee with a budget of around 150,000. My budget is limited, and as a working-class individual, I'm considering diesel for its fuel efficiency. I'm currently driving a 2.0T Mondeo, and the fuel consumption for commuting is 11 liters per 100 km. My concern is that some people say diesel engines are unstable and have high maintenance costs later on. My driving scenario is mainly commuting to work, with a daily round trip of 20 km. I’m also thinking about long-distance travel with my family during holidays. I’d love to hear from actual owners about their experiences and what I should pay attention to when making a choice. Thank you very much.
5Hey everyone, I've got an issue with my 09 model. Sometimes while driving, there's a sharp "dang dang" sound coming from underneath the car. It comes and goes, and sometimes I can even hear it when idling. The repair shop mentioned it might be the exhaust pipe but then said it doesn't seem like it. They think it might be coming from the bottom of the engine. Have any of you experienced something similar?
6Hi everyone, when I'm accelerating with my FJ and shifting gears, I notice that the shift from 4th to 5th gear feels more pronounced and abrupt. Is this normal? There are no error codes. It's not noticeable during normal driving, but if I deliberately pay attention to each gear shift, I can feel a slight jolt from 4th to 5th. To notice this, I have to keep the throttle steady without releasing or pressing it more. During the 4th to 5th shift, there's a noticeable abrupt feeling. However, if I ease off the throttle during the 4th to 5th shift, there's no issue at all. Any thoughts or suggestions are welcome. Thanks!
7I'm driving a 2017 model 1.4T automatic 2WD luxury version. Last year, I replaced the recalled vacuum pump. When I used to drive it daily, I didn't notice any issues. Recently, I've been using the car less, and after it's been parked for a day or two, the brakes feel hard when I start it in the morning. I wanted to check if the vacuum is sufficient, so I tried coasting in neutral and after pressing the brakes a couple of times, they become hard. I want to ask fellow car owners if they've experienced the same situation. Thanks.
8The engine warning light is on, is this sound normal? I usually didn't pay much attention to it [crying].
9How long is the warranty for BYD charging stations? I recently bought a BYD electric vehicle. A few days ago, the charging tripped after just half an hour. After resetting, it tripped again after about 20 minutes. I didn't pay much attention at the time. Today, while charging, it didn't trip the circuit breaker within ten minutes, but it stopped charging and there's no power. I don't know the reason. If anyone has had a similar experience, please advise!
10I didn't drive for two days, and when I started the car today, I noticed the engine warning light was on. For the first ten minutes or so, pressing the accelerator only increased the RPM, and the speed stayed below 20. After driving for about ten minutes, when I pressed the accelerator, there was a humming noise, and the speed gradually picked up. However, the fuel consumption display kept changing even when the car was parked or just started and not moving (or maybe I hadn't noticed this before). Can anyone advise what's going on? Has anyone experienced this before?
