Do any of you hear a humming sound when the car is parked? I just noticed it recently. Didn't pay much attention during the summer, but someone mentioned it and now I notice it. They said it's the water pump circulating.

I thought this car wouldn't be available in China, so I didn't pay much attention to it. I really love it, but I'm too broke to afford it. 🥺

The gear lever on this company car is problematic. After shifting to reverse, the detent stays in the engaged position even when you return it to neutral. You have to push it down to disengage. I didn't pay attention today, and when coasting downhill while pressing the clutch, I directly shifted to first gear without pushing the detent down. As a result, the car stalled and now it won't start at all.

Hey everyone, I've got an issue with my 09 model. Sometimes while driving, there's a sharp "dang dang" sound coming from underneath the car. It comes and goes, and sometimes I can even hear it when idling. The repair shop mentioned it might be the exhaust pipe but then said it doesn't seem like it. They think it might be coming from the bottom of the engine. Have any of you experienced something similar?

Hi everyone, when I'm accelerating with my FJ and shifting gears, I notice that the shift from 4th to 5th gear feels more pronounced and abrupt. Is this normal? There are no error codes. It's not noticeable during normal driving, but if I deliberately pay attention to each gear shift, I can feel a slight jolt from 4th to 5th. To notice this, I have to keep the throttle steady without releasing or pressing it more. During the 4th to 5th shift, there's a noticeable abrupt feeling. I'm driving a 2017 model 1.4T automatic 2WD luxury version. Last year, I replaced the recalled vacuum pump. When I used to drive it daily, I didn't notice any issues. Recently, I've been using the car less, and after it's been parked for a day or two, the brakes feel hard when I start it in the morning.
