Why is there water leaking next to the exhaust pipe of a 1.5t engine when the air conditioning is not on?

Why does the water temperature rise when going uphill and automatically decrease when going downhill, or when turning on the heater with the air conditioning?

Can anyone share a picture of the mid-section exhaust pipe for a 2015 GT with a 1.5T engine? Thanks!!!
