Does the second generation H9 support NFC unlocking and starting? Can it completely eliminate the need for a key to drive the car?

I disassembled the Peugeot 301 key and moved the chip to a new case, with the metal key separate. Now, the remote can unlock the door, but the metal key won't start the car. Could it be the key issue that's causing the car not to start?
