Why not release a 2.5 plug-in hybrid?

The old Alphard had 117 horsepower, why does the new one have 190? Aren't they both 2.5 hybrid engines? Does anyone know?

Is there a plan for a facelift next year? Even if there's no plug-in hybrid, improving the range would be good.

Why not release a hybrid version? Pure electric cars can be uncomfortable for long trips. If they had a hybrid, the sales would definitely improve.
