Is it normal for the RPM to increase by 100-200 when shifting the FJ from D to N, and then continue to maintain the increased RPM?

Recently, my fuel consumption has suddenly increased significantly. I suspect it might be the carbon canister purge valve. How should I check it? Can any experts help out?

Why can't the Pajero burn out when the brake is fully pressed and the accelerator is fully pressed in D gear, with the RPM only reaching a bit over 2000?

At 45,000 kilometers, there's no issue with a heavy throttle, and there's no problem with a light throttle either. But when I press the throttle slightly harder, the issue arises, especially noticeable at 2000 RPM. There's no such problem when the car is cold, but once the water temperature reaches two bars, it comes back. It's really frustrating. Any advice? 🙏🙏🙏

I just got a 2013 model with a 1.6 manual transmission. Everything else is fine except there's a loud buzzing vibration sound around 2000 RPM in every gear. Help needed, fellow Peugeot owners! Ever since my little Peugeot went on a continuous uphill drive for over an hour a few days ago, it's been having issues. The RPMs go up, but the speed doesn't. It's not too bad when not on the highway, as pressing the accelerator quickly gets the RPMs and speed up. But once I'm on the highway and going over 80-90 km/h, I need to press the gas to at least 2000 RPMs for the speed to increase very slowly. On inclines, if I don't reach 2500 RPMs, the speed drops. I never had to go over 2000 RPMs on the highway before. What's going on? 🌹
