I used 0w20 oil for the first four years, but in the fifth year, I switched to 5w30 and suddenly noticed a significant increase in fuel consumption. On the highway at 120 km/h, the fuel consumption is 10.5 liters per 100 km, which I find hard to accept. On national and provincial roads at speeds between 65-85 km/h, the fuel consumption is around 7.0 liters. When using 0w20, it was 9.0 on the highway and 6.5 on national and provincial roads. I'm planning to do a major maintenance on the car in a few days, switch back to 0w20 oil, and replace the two leaking rear shock absorbers and the trunk struts.

I've been using fully synthetic 5W-30 for four years now, and there haven't been any issues.

For city commuting, use 0W20 SP C5. For complex road conditions, opt for 5W30/0W30 SP C2 (low viscosity 30).
