How does the intelligent four-wheel drive of the fourth-generation Haval H6 work? Is it always in four-wheel drive while driving, or is it front-wheel drive until it automatically engages four-wheel drive in rainy, snowy, or slippery conditions?

This is the BorgWarner 4WD system, which automatically adjusts from 50/50 to 95/5 distribution. Some people call it full-time 4WD, while Haval calls it on-demand 4WD, both are accurate. 4WD is definitely a bit better than 2WD, but not by much. And it's probably not as good as you imagine. If you really want to use 4WD, I suggest finding one with a locking differential, so you can at least enjoy some of the fun that 4WD offers. On-demand 4WD is fully automatic, where's the fun in that...

For information on adaptive four-wheel drive, just refer to related documents. Focus on the response speed. Don't have too high expectations for it in rainy or snowy conditions.
