Why not release a fuel or plug-in hybrid version?

What's the actual range in kilometers, and when will the hybrid or fuel version be released?

Why not release a hybrid version? Pure electric cars can be uncomfortable for long trips. If they had a hybrid, the sales would definitely improve.

I really can't understand. With such a great design, would releasing a plug-in hybrid or range extender cause the company leaders so much pain?
