Hello, now when transferring vehicle ownership, you can only get a green plate. When Tesla was first imported, China hadn't started implementing new energy plates, which are green. So, the Teslas bought back then all had blue plates. Therefore, Teslas purchased before 2016 used blue plates. But now, Tesla has been classified as a new energy vehicle, so it can only use new energy plates. In the earliest batch of new energy vehicles, they all had blue plates, including Tesla and other first-batch new energy vehicles. This was because the government hadn't implemented green plates for new energy vehicles yet. In less than a year, to differentiate between traditional fuel cars and new energy cars, the government introduced green plates for new energy vehicles. Cars bought later all have green plates. The older batch of cars can voluntarily switch plates. They can change or not change, but if you need to perform some transfer or sale operations later, you must switch to a green plate, and the previous blue plate must be returned.

As you might know, in the Taycan's triple display, the middle one shows the speed by default, and when the power meter is checked, it shows acceleration and energy recovery levels—blue for acceleration and green for recovery.
