I'm about to get the S60, but I've been torn between the Mercedes C260L and the S60. My wife and I both love the looks of both cars, but the interior of the Mercedes is really much better than the Volvo. Since it's mainly for my wife, we wanted something that looks good and is comfortable, with driving performance being secondary. So, we prioritized the Mercedes C260L—it looks good and has plenty of space. However, due to regional restrictions with Mercedes and not being able to get a Shanghai license plate, we had to go for the S60 Zhi Yuan instead. Unfortunately, the cream white color costs a lot more and requires a few months of waiting, so we gave up on the white interior even though it would have looked great.

Regardless of the price or brand, it's best to test drive the car yourself. What others say can only be a reference. You need to test drive it yourself to see which one suits you better.

How to distinguish between a Maybach S-Class and a Mercedes S-Class from the exterior: 1. **Badging and Logo**: The Maybach S-Class usually features distinct Maybach logos and badging. Look for the double "M" emblem, which is a signature of the Maybach brand. 2. **Grille Design**: The grille on the Maybach S-Class is often more elaborate, with vertical slats and a more prominent design compared to the standard Mercedes S-Class. 3. **Wheelbase and Length**: The Maybach version tends to have a longer wheelbase, providing a more spacious rear passenger area. Does the G80 have any interior odors? I used to drive an XC60, and it didn't have any smell at all—the cabin was very comfortable. However, Volvo's soundproofing isn't great. I took a ride in a car-hailing service today, and there was an indescribable odor inside the car. Not sure if it was a plastic smell or something else, but even though it was faint, it made sitting inside uncomfortable. I don't know how the driver tolerates it. I test drove the G80 and noticed a bit of a smell, but it wasn't unpleasant. It definitely can't compare to a new Volvo. I'm curious if the smell will still be there after one or two months. With my previous XC60, even after being parked under the sun, there was no noticeable odor inside. Any G80 owners care to share their experience?
