When driving the 2017 1.5T Smart model at 55 mph, the engine makes a roaring noise, but it disappears after accelerating past 60 mph. I've cleaned the throttle body, removed carbon buildup, and changed the engine mounts, but the issue persists. I've heard that reprogramming might help, but it carries some risks. Has anyone encountered this problem?

When coming to a stop, the idle speed suddenly drops and it feels like the car is about to stall. This occasionally happens when shifting from D to P while stationary. I've replaced the spark plugs, ignition coils, injectors, high-pressure fuel pump, PCV valve, carbon canister solenoid, air flow sensor, and engine mounts. I've also cleaned the intake carbon deposits and combustion chamber carbon deposits. The problem still exists. Can anyone help me figure this out? [crying][crying][crying][crying]
I've got a 2012 Changhe Liana, and it's been having issues with shaking at idle, while driving, and even more when the AC is on. I've already replaced the spark plugs and ignition coils, and cleaned the fuel injectors and throttle body, but the problem persists. The check engine light comes on frequently. Does anyone know what might be causing this issue?
I've upgraded my 2009 Scirocco with the 187b head unit, but the reverse camera doesn't switch the screen when reversing, although the radar works fine. Interestingly, the reverse camera works normally when the car is off, but not when the engine is running. I've already replaced the head unit and the reverse camera, but the issue persists. Any experts out there who can help?
4For a 2011 Volkswagen Phaeton with 130,000 kilometers, experiencing issues with the key frequently failing to unlock the doors or the car not detecting the key inside, along with a loud engine noise, here's what you can do: 1. **Key Issues:** - **Battery Check:** Start by checking and replacing the battery in your key fob, as a weak battery can cause these problems. - **Signal Interference:** Ensure there is no electronic interference around you when using the key. Sometimes other devices can disrupt the signal. - **Reprogramming:** If the issue persists, consider having the key reprogrammed by a professional. 2. **Engine Noise:** - **Oil Level and Quality:** Check the engine oil level and quality. Low or dirty oil can increase engine noise. - **Regular Maintenance:** Ensure regular maintenance is performed, including oil changes and tune-ups, to keep the engine running smoothly. - **Inspect Components:** Have a mechanic inspect the engine components like the timing belt, exhaust system, and other parts that might contribute to the noise. Regular maintenance and addressing minor issues promptly can help maintain the car's performance and longevity.

6I've got a 2013 Kia Sportage Manual GL 2.0, and the steering wheel shakes when idling. I've cleaned the carbon buildup in the engine cylinders, the injectors, and the idle valve. I also replaced the spark plugs and engine mounts last year. Any experts out there have any advice?
7Due to work, I've moved to a rural area and I'm considering buying a four-wheel drive vehicle. My options are the Haval Raptor and Subaru XV. I want to ask friends here, is the trunk of the XV spacious enough? I have a two-month-old baby and often need to carry a stroller. From the photos, the XV's trunk doesn't look very large. Also, there's a common issue with boxer engines consuming oil—does the XV have this problem too?
8I've had my car for four and a half years and it's only done 36,000 km. It's a 2019 model with the 4J11 engine. Recently, when I start it cold, the engine struggles a lot. The RPM doesn't go up immediately, and the needle wobbles between 500 and 1000 for a few seconds, making it feel like it's about to stall. Then the RPM suddenly jumps to 2000-3000 before settling back to normal idle after a few seconds. There are no warning lights, and once it's running, everything seems normal. I've cleaned the carbon buildup and throttle, and checked the intake for leaks, but the issue persists. I'm not sure what to check next. What should I look into?
9I've been driving a Suzuki SX4 for over ten years, and now the fuel consumption is higher than before. When I press the accelerator, the RPM goes up, but the speed doesn't increase. I've changed the transmission oil, cleared the engine carbon deposits, and worked on the throttle and fuel injectors, but the RPM is still high while acceleration is slow. Are there any fellow car owners who have experienced similar issues?
10I've had the car for about a month now, and honestly, I feel like it's a great fit for younger drivers. The design is sporty, and the interior space turned out to be better than I expected, so I didn’t hesitate to go ahead and place the order. At first glance, the look is pretty standard — nothing too flashy — and the car sits lower than most other SUVs. So far, I’ve driven around 600 km. Fuel consumption is currently between 8.8 to 9 L/100 km, mostly city driving. I haven’t taken it on the highway much yet, but I believe the fuel economy will improve over time. Acceleration is quite strong — it uses the same engine as the Civic — though I don't push it hard often; I only tried flooring it once just to see how it feels. The rearview camera is clear, and I didn’t install a 360° system since I’m used to using the mirrors, but I might add it later — blind spots are always a risk. Friends and coworkers who sat in the back all said the space felt pretty good. What annoyed me the most is the infotainment system. Wireless CarPlay has a 1–2 second delay, which isn’t terrible but still noticeable. I’ve seen people online claim some versions have zero delay — not sure how true that is. The voice assistant is also a bit frustrating; it sometimes activates randomly in the middle of a conversation and starts talking out of nowhere! The horn also sounds cheap — one guy compared it to an electric scooter and honestly, I couldn’t agree more. Another weird thing: there’s no one-touch window up/down feature, which feels like a missed basic feature. And the sound insulation is weak — you can clearly hear wind and tire noise, especially at higher speeds. I usually end up turning up the music just to drown it out — maybe that's just typical for Japanese cars? Overall though, as my first car, I’m pretty satisfied. I don’t have much experience with other cars yet, so this is just my perspective. Hope it helps anyone considering this car — no offense intended to anyone!
