It used to be recommended to use 95 octane fuel, and it was labeled as such. Why has it changed to 92 now?

I always use 95, though I did try 98 a few times initially.

If the fuel quality is good, 92 won't be a problem at all.

In fact, you can always use either 92 or 95 octane fuel. It's just a matter of understanding, as many people insist on recommending 95. Actually, both are fine to use.

Both options have always been available, just like with Volkswagen's Sagitar and Bora.

In the past, when fuel prices were low, manufacturers might have preferred users to fill up with higher-quality fuel to ensure the engine's optimal performance. Now that fuel prices have risen and consumers are more concerned about fuel economy, along with the impact of electric vehicles, manufacturers are saying that 92 octane is okay. It's really just a psychological effect; this car could run on 92 before, but the manufacturers didn't mention it.

The minimum is 92, which means you can use 92. Actually, if you compare it with 95, the cost is pretty much the same.
