Is this car prone to breaking down? Is it better to buy this one or the TT convertible?

Hey guys, is a 10-year-old MX5 with a budget of 100,000 good to drive? Does it break down easily? Is it easy to sell? I'm a student considering it as my first car.

Without an underground garage, it's probably not a good idea to buy a convertible, especially a soft-top.
