The interior space isn’t very big. I’m 175 cm tall and there’s still a bit of room in the back, but headroom is a bit tight. The trunk can be expanded when you fold down the rear seats. It’s powered by a 1.5L turbo engine with 136 hp and a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission — suitable for daily driving. The suspension is comfortable, handling is good, and fuel consumption is around 7.4L/100km.

I've been following the Geely Starlight L since it launched in 2021, but since I already had a car, I wasn’t in a rush to change. A few days ago, my wife and I went to the Geely dealership in Sharjah just to have a look and test drive it. Honestly, the car felt very comfortable—especially the suspension—it felt like riding a yacht! The performance is solid, and I was specifically looking for an AWD version. I prefer the older design, but my wife likes the new one. The black interior looks sleek and is practical, though I was a bit disappointed that they reduced the number of physical buttons. Interior and trunk space are more than enough. They had a trade-in offer and government subsidy that made the deal really worth it. I went for a “special edition” with a winter package and starlight roof, and the total came out to AED 139,200 including insurance and registration. I paid AED 80,600 upfront, and the rest is on a 5-year loan with an option for early repayment after 2 years. They also threw in some extras like floor mats, underbody protection, and window tinting. The dealership promised free lifetime car washes, which was written into the contract.
