2024 Jeddah GT Race Hosted at the Fastest Track in the World

The 2024 SAL Jeddah GT race unfolded at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit in Saudi Arabia from November 29 to 30, showcasing the Kingdom's aspirations in the international racing arena for the first time.

This prestigious event is organized by the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation (SAMF) and the Saudi Motorsports Company, under the supervision of the Ministry of Sports. Known as the fastest track in the world, the Jeddah Corniche Circuit hosted two major motorsport races covering a total distance of 1,000 kilometers, making it the longest circuit race in Saudi history.

The 2024 Jeddah GT race marks its debut in Saudi Arabia, capturing the attention of racing enthusiasts.

This event is part of the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe, featuring a six-hour race with 49 participating cars. Additionally, the European GT4 series was showcased during this event, supported by RAFA Racing Club, featuring four competitive classes and a race length of 250 kilometers with 35 participating cars.

Notable manufacturers involved include Porsche, Aston Martin, Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Mercedes AMG, BMW M Sport, Audi Sport, and Ford. Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal, the Minister of Sports and Chairman of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee, expressed pride in hosting this global sporting event and praised the Kingdom's leadership for its commitment to developing the sports sector and aligning with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

The 2024 Jeddah GT race marks its debut in Saudi Arabia, capturing the attention of racing enthusiasts.

Prince Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdullah bin Faisal, Chairman of the Saudi Automobile Federation and the Saudi Motorsports Company, affirmed that this iconic motorsport event enhances the portfolio of international championships held in Saudi Arabia, attracting top stars and garnering significant media attention both locally and globally.
