On 10 October 2024, Lexus officially unveiled the all-new LX 700h, a large luxury SUV whose reintroduction marks a major upgrade to the Lexus SUV family.
As the brand's flagship SUV, the Lexus LX 700h not only continues the classic luxury design, but also introduces a hybrid powertrain for the first time, especially in the "Overtrail" off-road version, which demonstrates its powerful off-road capability.

In terms of appearance, the Lexus LX 700h continues the atmospheric design of the current model as a whole, with its wide body and sharp hard lines outlining a powerful exterior image.
The front end still features the signature large spindle grille, showing the Lexus family design style.
At the rear, the car continues to be equipped with a penetrating taillight cluster, and the "LX 700h" logo in the lower right corner of the tailgate clearly indicates the identity of the hybrid model.
As an off-road exclusive version, the "OVERTRAIL" edition features a specially designed exterior with exclusive special paint and details such as a glossy black front grille, smoked door handles, matte grey aluminium alloy rims, and blacked-out exterior mirrors and side window frames to further enhance the off-road aura.
This version also comes with exclusive all-terrain tyres on 265/70R18 matte grey rims to reinforce the vehicle's ability to get out of trouble.
In terms of dimensions, the LX 700h has a length, width and height of 5100/1990/1895 mm and a wheelbase of 2,850 mm, providing passengers with a spacious interior and stable driving performance.

In terms of interior, the LX 700h continues to maintain Lexus' usual luxurious ambience. In terms of interior colour scheme, the OVERTRAIL Edition model adopts a two-tone khaki green and black colour scheme, accented with Black Ash wood veneer, which enhances the overall sense of premium.
As for the seats, the front seats offer five massage modes and five levels of intensity adjustment to ensure comfort on long drives. In addition, the driver's seat is equipped with electric adjustment and wireless charging function, which further enhances the convenience of driving .
In the centre, the LX 700h features a 12.3-inch LCD instrument cluster that displays general driving information, a boost gauge and the hybrid battery's charge status.
The car is also equipped with a new electronic gearshift system and a multiple driving mode system to provide a more intelligent driving experience .
Power and off-road performance: hybrid power meets all-terrain capability
The LX 700h is equipped with a 3.5-litre V6 twin-turbocharged engine and a parallel hybrid powertrain consisting of an electric motor, with a combined output of 341KW (460PS) and a maximum torque of up to 790Nm, which not only provides a strong power output, but also offers a brand new upgrade in off-road performance.
The LX 700h is equipped with a full-time four-wheel drive system and a central differential lock as standard, while the OVERTRAIL version is additionally equipped with front and rear differential locks to ensure that the vehicle has a stronger extrication capability in extreme off-road conditions.
To enhance the vehicle's off-road capabilities, the new car is equipped with Multi-Terrain Select, which can be precisely adjusted to different road conditions (e.g. sand, snow, rock, etc.) to ensure optimal driving stability and passing ability .
In addition, the LX 700h has an excellent wading capacity of 700 mm and is equipped with a new waterproof structure of the battery system, which ensures safe driving even in extreme wading conditions.
Chassis and suspension: comfort and handling in equal measure
The chassis structure of the LX 700h has been strengthened by adding a third set of cross members to support the extra weight from the hybrid system. As for the suspension system, the vehicle is equipped with the AVS Adaptive Variable Suspension system, which has been optimised for the valve structure, enabling smoother control of shock absorber damping for a smoother driving experience when driving over bumpy roads.
In addition, the AVS system optimises the deceleration process from low-speed driving to stopping, reducing unnecessary body movement and improving ride comfort in rough terrain .
Safety and Smart Technology
The LX 700h is equipped with the latest Lexus Safety System+ 3.0, offering a full range of safety and security features including Active Driver Assistance PDA, Pre-Collision Safety System PCS and Lane Departure Alert System LDA. The car also introduces the Lexus Teammate driver assistance system, with functions such as traffic jam assistance, automatic parking and remote parking, providing drivers with a smarter and safer driving experience.
In addition, the LX 700h is also equipped with an external power supply function that provides 1,500W to 2,400W of power output, making it suitable for outdoor camping and other scenarios.
