The 2025 Nissan Armada, one of Nissan's latest models, showcases a new design approach. It is expected to be officially released later this year, and the Armada 2025 features an advanced exterior design that, while familiar, presents a robust new look. The SUV comes with a wide front grille and vertical LED headlights, along with a specially designed windshield and rain-sensing wipers.
Additionally, the Armada features a streamlined body and offers wheel sizes of 18, 20, or 22 inches. Designers have reimagined the vehicle's glass sections and crafted a distinctive rear pillar. The back end features vertical taillights connected by a light bar. Inside, the Armada borrows heavily from the Infiniti QX80, with a significantly upgraded interior compared to the previous model, though the base model lacks modern amenities.
Buyers will find a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a similarly sized infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The audio system features six speakers, with seating for eight, including front seats that are power-adjustable and upholstered in leather.
Third-row passengers will enjoy an additional 145mm of legroom, while storage capacity is also increased, with 578 liters behind the third row and 2750 liters behind the first row.
Higher trims offer more luxurious features, including a 14.3-inch screen, wood trims, and plush leather seating. Buyers can also opt for heated, cooled, and massaging front seats, captain's chairs in the second row, a central console, and a wireless phone charger. Other options include a dual panoramic sunroof, Google integration, and a premium audio system from Klipsch with 12 speakers.
Powering the Armada is a 3.5-liter V6 twin-turbo engine producing 425 horsepower and 699 Nm of torque. This is 25 horsepower less than the Infiniti QX80 but 25 horsepower more than the previous generation Armada. The engine is mated to a new 9-speed automatic transmission, replacing the previous 7-speed unit, promising improved acceleration, higher gear ratios, and better fuel efficiency.
Regarding towing capabilities, the Armada can tow up to 3856 kg. The SUV can also be equipped with a trailer brake controller and a blind-spot monitoring system for trailers.
