The 2025 Toyota Tundra pickup truck debuts at dealers with a modest price increase ranging from $100 to $500, along with a new TRD Rally Package that enhances its visual appeal. The base SR regular cab with a 6.5-foot bed starts at $42,035, including a $1,945 destination fee, according to Toyota's announcement on Tuesday.

The price variation depends on the 33 available configurations for this truck. Buyers can choose between two four-door cab options (extended cab or crew cab, with no regular cab), three bed sizes, rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive, and two engine options, including a hybrid variant.

The 2025 Toyota Tundra pickup truck officially arrives with a slight price increase and a new TRD Rally Package.

The non-hybrid engine, a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6 known as i-Force, has encountered some issues since its introduction during the 2022 redesign as a V-8 replacement. Toyota recalled the 2022-2023 Tundra and Lexus LX in late May due to machining debris in the engine that could lead to knocking, stalling, or failure to start. Two months later, Toyota made the costly but consumer-friendly choice to replace that engine in the 102,000 affected Tundra and LX vehicles. Owners also have the option of a replacement vehicle while their truck is being serviced.

The hybrid version of the twin-turbo V-6, called i-Force Max, was not impacted by the recall and engine replacement.

The 2025 Tundra carries over most of its grades including SR, SR5, Limited, Platinum, 1794, TRD Pro, and Capstone, with the Capstone topping the price list at $82,670 with four-wheel drive. Now, massaging front seats come standard on 1794, Platinum, and Capstone, and a one-touch power-closing tailgate is available. The SR5 now features a power driver seat as standard.

What is the Tundra TRD Rally Package?

Think of the TRD Rally Package as a lighter version of TRD, adorned with red, orange, and yellow decals paying homage to Toyota's trophy Baja trucks from the 1990s. The decals are prominently displayed on the grille, front doors, tailgate, and center caps, as well as on the seats and dashboard. It features 18-inch off-road wheels with all-terrain tires, Bilstein dampers, skid plates, and an electronically controlled locking rear differential.

This package is only available with the $52,955 SR5 trim featuring a crew cab, four-wheel drive, and a 5.5-foot bed, paired with the non-hybrid 389-hp twin-turbo 3.5-liter V-6, but Toyota did not disclose pricing for the package. Expect around $2,000. At least Toyota maintains the theme of choice by offering the package in four body colors, including Magnetic Gray, Midnight Black Metallic, and Celestial Silver.

A new Mudbath color is reserved exclusively for the TRD Pro grade.
