According to the Saudi Arabian Public Roads Authority, starting today, December 2nd, Monday, the traffic diversion work from Abu Hadriyah to Bahrain will be fully underway.

This work will take place from the intersection of King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz Road to the southern direction of the Riyadh highway bridge. To facilitate road repairs, traffic will be closed in stages. Specific measures include the closure of the exit from the service road to Abu Hadriyah southbound, closure of the westbound ramp leading to Riyadh, closure of the exit from Riyadh to Abu Hadriyah southbound, and closure of the exit from Abu Hadriyah heading to Riyadh eastbound.

Traffic diversion work on Abu Hadriyah officially begins today.

For vehicles heading west from Abu Hadriyah to Riyadh, it is advised to enter the service road directly after the King Fahd intersection and continue until reaching Riyadh. Vehicles traveling east from Abu Hadriyah to Riyadh should also enter the service road and continue to turn right at the entrance bridge of the Al-Orouba neighborhood. Vehicles coming from Riyadh heading south to Abu Hadriyah should continue west and turn right at the Al-Orouba bridge towards Abu Hadriyah southbound.
