The model was unveiled at Geely’s new showroom on Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai, marking part of the brand’s global expansion into over twenty markets this year and reaffirming its strong commitment to the electric mobility sector in the region.

The Geely EX5 is engineered to balance power and efficiency, offering a smooth driving experience ideal for city commutes and intercity travel across the Emirates. It features a front wheel drive single motor setup that delivers 215 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque, enabling the SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in around 6.9 seconds and reach a top speed of approximately 175 km/h.
Powering the vehicle is Geely’s in house developed lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, known for its thermal stability and durability, an essential feature for the hot GCC climate.

These options provide a driving range of up to 430 kilometers based on local standards, while global tests report a maximum range of up to 495 kilometers depending on the cycle.

Additionally, the SUV incorporates Geely’s advanced “11 in 1” intelligent drive system, which enhances energy efficiency and reduces thermal losses, delivering reliable, balanced performance for daily use.

Inside, the cabin reflects Geely’s digital first approach, offering a 15 inch central touchscreen with an intelligent operating system that receives continuous updates and connects seamlessly with smartphones.
