Geely Galaxy brand is preparing to launch its new hybrid sedan model "A7," entering the compact to midsize sporty sedans market with an evolved size and features. The official unveiling is scheduled for August 8, 2025, following a pre-order period started in July, generating wide interest from consumers looking for a smart, economical, and modern hybrid vehicle.

The Geely Galaxy A7 features a balanced and elegant design that firmly positions it as a strong contender in the compact and midsize sedan segment. The car measures 4,918 mm in length, 1,905 mm in width, and 1,495 mm in height, with a generous wheelbase of 2,845 mm. This provides a spacious interior and excellent stability on the road.
The front fascia is highlighted by a closed grille designed to reduce air resistance, complemented by a connected LED light strip composed of 196 pixels. The sporty character is further emphasized by 19-inch "Blade" alloy wheels. The model offers a variety of attractive colors including enamel blue, frosted silver, rock black, and others.
Powertrain and Advanced Hybrid Performance
The A7 is equipped with a second-generation EM-i AI Super Hybrid 2.0 system, combining a 1.5-liter gasoline engine producing 110 horsepower (82 kW) with a strong electric motor that delivers 235 horsepower (175 kW). This results in smooth and quick responses, enabling acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.1 seconds. The vehicle achieves remarkable fuel efficiency of only 2.67 liters per 100 km according to the CLTC standard.
Drivers can choose between two battery packs: an 8.5 kWh battery offering an electric-only range of up to 70 km, and an 18.4 kWh battery that extends the electric range to 150 km. This makes the car suitable for smart, eco-friendly commuting, covering long distances without frequent refueling or recharging. The combined total driving range (fuel + electric) exceeds 2,100 km, providing great confidence for both daily driving and longer trips.
Interior and Smart Technologies
Inside, the A7 cabin delivers a futuristic driving experience with the Flyme Auto system developed collaboratively by Geely and Meizu, running on the Xingrui AI Cloud 2.0 platform. This system supports over-the-air (OTA) updates, intelligent navigation, and advanced voice control capable of recognizing commands from four different passengers simultaneously. It also fully integrates with Huawei HiCar and CarLink.
The center console boasts a large 15.4-inch 2.5K resolution touchscreen, accompanied by an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster in front of the driver. Higher trims feature a head-up display (HUD) that helps the driver monitor speed and alerts without taking eyes off the road.
Comfort is prioritized with full leather upholstery, ventilated and heated front seats, and even massage functions. Rear seats can recline up to 120 degrees, and the panoramic sunroof of 0.87 square meters adds an airy and open feel to the interior.

The A7 is equipped with the G-Pilot H3 driving assistance suite, offering features like automatic parking assist and highway driving assist with navigation support, enhancing safety and providing a more relaxed driving experience, especially in daily traffic or long journeys.
Safety features include ventilated front disc brakes and regular rear discs, electric parking brake, manual rearview mirror dimming, dual 50-watt wireless chargers, rotary climate controls, and a premium Flyme Sound audio system with 16 speakers in the highest trim levels.

Pre-orders for the Geely Galaxy A7 began on July 11, 2025, with five trims offered, priced between 103,800 and 133,800 Chinese Yuan (approximately $14,500 to $18,650 USD). On July 18, Geely introduced two more affordable trims, starting at 97,800 Yuan, to expand accessibility.
