Jetour Zongheng Unveils 1572PS SUV: G700 Set to Launch in Dubai by Q3

On January 22, Jetour Zongheng, a new luxury off-road sub-brand under Chery Jetour, was officially launched. This brand, focused on luxury electric-hybrid off-road vehicles, represents a significant leap in the Chinese automotive industry’s technological innovation. Jetour Zongheng introduced three flagship models: the G700, G900, and F700.

The G700, the first of these models, is set to debut in the Dubai market by Q3 this year, offering an exceptional off-road experience tailored for Middle Eastern consumers.

Advanced Off-road Chassis

Jetour Zongheng vehicles are built on the cutting-edge Zongheng gimbal off-road chassis, equipped with state-of-the-art technology. Two distinct powertrain options are offered:

1. PHEV (Parallel Hybrid Electric Vehicle) – CDM-O:

   • Powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine producing 208 hp (155 kW).

   • Combined with a 2-speed DHT transmission generating 282 hp (210 kW).

   • An additional 402 hp (300 kW) electric motor on the rear axle boosts overall performance.

   • This hybrid powertrain will drive the G700 SUV and the F700 pickup truck.

2. Programmable Electric Vehicle (EREV) – CEM-O:

   • Features a 2.0-liter generator producing 155 kW to charge the battery and power the electric motors.

   • Four electric motors deliver a combined peak output of 1,572 hp (1,200 kW).

Both powertrains are built on an 800V high-voltage architecture, allowing for ultra-fast charging. The advanced 6C charging system can recharge the battery from 20% to 80% in just six minutes.

Jetour Zongheng vehicles also integrate six groundbreaking off-road technologies, including:

• Rear-wheel steering for enhanced maneuverability.

• Turn-in-place functionality for tight spaces.

• Dual-chamber air suspension with a dual-valve CDC adjustment system.

• Zongheng Ark technology, enabling seamless transition between land and water. This feature supports up to 40 minutes of water navigation and a maximum displacement of 4 tons, redefining the limits of off-road exploration.

G700: Luxury Meets Off-road Prowess

The G700, Jetour Zongheng’s debut model, is a luxury off-road SUV with a commanding presence. Its dimensions are 5403 mm (L) x 2050 mm (W) x 1936 mm (H), with a wheelbase of 3100 mm. The G700’s rugged design features a non-load-bearing body and classic hardcore styling, along with three differential locks and turn-in-place capability for tackling challenging terrains.

Interior Features:
The cabin offers a blend of luxury and advanced technology with:

• A spacious 2+2+2 six-seat layout.

• A Zongheng-inspired cockpit featuring a large central control screen.

• A floating touch screen and aviation-style physical controls.

• Huawei Qian Kun Intelligent Driving ADS 3.0 for cutting-edge driving assistance.

Performance:
With a remarkable range of up to 1,400 kilometers on a full tank and charge, the G700 caters to both daily commutes and long-distance off-road adventures.

Expanding the Lineup: G900 and F700

In addition to the G700, Jetour Zongheng introduced two other models:

• G900:
  A high-end, hardcore off-road SUV equipped with:

  • The amphibious Golden Range Extender System, supporting water navigation.

  • Advanced features like bulletproof and explosion-proof technology.

  • Drone-assisted travel photography and rescue capabilities.

  • IPX8 sealing standard, allowing up to 40 minutes of water navigation.

  • A Chery-developed engine for aquatic performance, enabling swimming speeds of 8.5 km/h.

• F700:
  A versatile off-road pickup truck designed for practicality and technology. It features intelligent all-terrain modes and impressive towing capabilities. Although still in the concept phase, the F700 hints at exciting potential for future production.
