Some might argue that with its fluid, sensual lines and elegant proportions, the 2024 Mazda 6 (GJ generation) sedan remains as classic in appearance as when it was first launched a decade ago—after all, if it isn't broken, why change it?
The exterior design of this car is quite impressive. Although the Mazda 6 has not undergone a full model change in ten years, it has seen some minor updates. The latest model features a larger chrome grille and a redesigned front fascia, shifting slightly from its youthful sporty image towards a more luxurious aura.
The side profile maintains Mazda’s unique visual impact with its enchanting contours showcased to full effect. The body lines, elegantly elongated and redefined, are aesthetically pleasing and hard to rival at this price point.
At the rear, the car adopts a sporty stance with tail lights that have been finely re-sculpted, enhancing its beauty.

Interior Comfort
In terms of interior design, the Mazda 6 appears more upscale than any of its competitors. The design of the door panels and dashboard creates smooth, flowing lines that envelop the driver, with delicate tactile switches and ornamental rings on the knobs that add a touch of class. The leather-wrapped central console extends across the area, offering a level of luxury that even surpasses that of the Mercedes Benz C200.
The central console boasts an 8.0-inch display screen with a simple yet fully functional design.
The front of the cabin features a dual-zone automatic climate control system, allowing for the adjustment of the most comfortable ambient conditions. Leather seats provide optimal support and a soft, comfortable feel.
The instrument panel mixes mechanical dials with a digital display and has a fine quality feel to it. However, many cars in its class have switched to full digital displays, making this one seem less technologically advanced.
Engine
The engine is equipped with a 2.5L naturally aspirated engine in mainstream models, producing a maximum power of 190 horsepower and a peak torque of 252 N·m. It's paired with an Aisin 6-speed automatic transmission. Although these specifications may not seem impressive compared to some turbocharged engines, the actual power delivery is quite satisfactory.
Thanks to its ample displacement, the acceleration process is smooth and linear, making for a more comfortable driving experience.
As for the Aisin 6-speed automatic transmission, its smoothness is reassuring. The shift speed is surprisingly quick, and the transmission performs actively whether shifting up or down.
