The automotive market in Saudi Arabia is facing a significant vehicle recall, as the Ministry of Commerce reveals a new wave of recalls affecting multiple Kia vehicles.

The Saudi Ministry of Commerce has announced a new vehicle recall campaign involving several Kia models.

This recall primarily targets the 2016 to 2017 Kia Rio models, totaling 6,219 cars. The recall is due to a defect in the Hydraulic Electronic Control Unit (HECU), which could lead to an electrical short circuit, thus increasing the risk of fire.
