Genesis unveiled the updated G80 last fall and is now gearing up to launch it in the US market. The starting price has been set at $57,100, with the 2025 G80 increasing in price by approximately $2,700 compared to last year's model.
The exterior design of this vehicle is striking, featuring a revised front end and updated wheels. It also offers new color options and the latest Micro Lens Array LED headlights.
Interior changes are particularly notable, with the new model featuring a brand-new dashboard and a large 27-inch OLED display. Buyers will also find a new steering wheel, updated central console, and revised push-button start. In terms of features, the base 2.5T AWD model comes equipped with rain-sensing wipers and a smart trunk that opens hands-free. The 2.5T Advanced AWD version starts at $61,900, featuring a slightly modified exterior design with a panoramic sunroof and larger 19-inch alloy wheels. The interior also sees significant upgrades, including matte wood accents, cooled front seats, and three-zone automatic climate control. Additionally, this model is equipped with an electric rear sunshade and a premium Bang & Olufsen audio system.
Next is the 2.5T Sport Prestige AWD version, starting at $68,350. It boasts a sporty front bumper, dual exhaust system, and larger 20-inch wheels. This model also features sport-tuned suspension, enhanced brakes, and electronically controlled suspension with road preview technology.
The sporty design continues inside with metal pedals, aluminum accents, and leather upholstery. It also includes an Ergo-Motion driver seat, wireless smartphone charging, and digital key technology. Additional driver assistance systems include blind-spot display, a surround-view monitor, and rear passenger alerts. The model also features smart remote parking assistance along with advanced parking warnings and collision avoidance systems.
The 3.5T Sport Advanced AWD version is available for $69,600, featuring a 3.5-liter V6 twin-turbo engine producing 375 horsepower and 530 Nm of torque. This version shares nearly all features with the 2.5T Sport Prestige AWD.
The top version is the 3.5T Sport Prestige AWD, starting at $77,000. It features electronically controlled sport suspension, an electronic limited-slip differential, and high-performance brakes. It also includes rear-wheel steering and a special Sport+ driving mode. The interior is equally luxurious, featuring Nappa leather seats, carbon fiber accents, and a suede headliner. This model also includes a heated front center armrest, a head-up display, and additional driver assistance systems.
