2024 BYD Seal 07 DM-i in-depth Walkaround BYD has unveiled two new vehicles: the Seal 07 DM-i and the 2025 Seal EV. The Seal 07 DM-i is a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) with BYD's latest fifth-generation DM technology. With prices ranging from 139,800 to 195,800 yuan (approximately 19,500 to 27,300 USD), this model will replace the current Seal DM-i, helping to eliminate any confusion regarding its identity. The 2024 BYD Seal 07 DM-i is a spacious vehicle, measuring 4,980 mm in length, 1,890 mm in width, and 1,495 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,900 mm. Its front end is characterized by a distinctive five-slat grille. The powertrain includes a 1.5-liter petrol engine paired with a 145-kilowatt electric motor that drives the front wheels. The vehicle is also equipped with an 18.3 kilowatt-hour battery. While the Seal 07 DM-i is the plug-in hybrid version, the Seal 07 also comes in an all-electric variant. Both versions share a similar overall design but feature different front-end styling.
