2024 Changan Deepal S07 in-depth Walkaround The S07 is essentially a facelifted version of the S7, with the most significant upgrade being the new Qiankun ADS system from Huawei. Externally, the Deepal S07 is nearly identical to its predecessor. One of the few notable changes is the inclusion of an intelligent interactive light group that utilizes up to 696 LED light sources. These lights can project interactions such as signals to pedestrians, driving status reminders, and special scene animations and the user can customize the light language. The available colors for the car include Star Black, Cold Star White, Moon Rock Gray, Blazing Cloud Orange, Polar Yellow, Nebula Blue, and Star Blue. The dimensions remain the same as the S7, with a length of 4750 mm, a width of 1930 mm, a height of 1625 mm, and a wheelbase of 2900 mm. The S07 comes in both all-electric and range-extended EV forms. The all-electric version uses a single 160 kW motor and boasts a range of 620 km based on CLTC calculations. The range-extended versions are equipped with a 1.5-liter JL473QJ engine, which serves as the range extender and has a maximum power output of 70 kW. There are two variants: one with a pure electric range of 121 km and another with 200 km, with the maximum combined range reaching 1,120 km. Deepal's model lineup currently includes the SL03, S7, and G318. The S07 will replace the S7. Later this year, the new L07, which resembles the SL03 but is a different car, will also be introduced. The L07 focuses on intelligent technology and is 55 mm longer than the SL03. Additionally, the S05, an A+ class SUV, is slated to go on sale this year.
