2024 Volvo EX30 in-depth Walkaround The Volvo EX30 is a battery-electric subcompact crossover SUV manufactured by Volvo Cars. As the smallest Volvo vehicle currently on sale, it is positioned below the XC40 and C40 crossovers. Produced in China, the EX30 shares its platform with the Zeekr X and Smart #1, both of which are similar in size and developed from Geely's SEA platform. The EX30 is slated for global export. The vehicle can be equipped with either one or two permanent magnet synchronous electric motors. It offers two battery options: a 51 kWh LFP battery or a 69 kWh NMC battery. The electric range varies based on the configuration: the Single Motor version provides a range of 214 miles (344 km), the Single Motor Extended Range offers 298 miles (480 km), and the Twin Motor Performance version achieves 286 miles (460 km). In terms of dimensions, the EX30 has a wheelbase of 2,650 mm (104.3 inches), a length of 4,233 mm (166.7 inches), a width of 1,836 mm (72.3 inches), and a height of 1,550 mm (61.0 inches).
