Huawei Stelato S9 2024 in-depth Walkaround Huawei and BAIC have launched the Stelato S9, positioned as a competitor to the Mercedes-Benz EQS, with a starting price of $55,900. The Stelato brand results from a collaboration between Huawei, a leading technology company, and BAIC, a state-owned automotive manufacturer in China. This partnership falls under the Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance (HIMA), combining Huawei's technological expertise with BAIC's automotive experience. The Stelato S9 builds on the design language of the Luxeed S7 and Aito M9, characterized by minimalist lines and a distinctive full-width light strip. Its diamond-process headlamps and a low drag coefficient of just 0.193 Cd emphasize a blend of style and aerodynamics. The vehicle measures 5160mm in length, 1987mm in width, and 1486mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3050mm. Inside, the Stelato S9 features a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel and a 15.6-inch central touchscreen, all set within a sleek, horizontal layout. Advanced features such as 50-watt wireless charging, tablet integration, and the latest HarmonyOS 4 system enhance the driving experience. The S9 also offers luxurious zero-gravity seats upholstered in Nappa leather, with heating, ventilation, and massage functions. Powering the Stelato S9 are both single-motor and dual-motor variants. The single-motor version delivers a maximum power of 227 kW (304 hp) and offers two battery options: ternary lithium combined with lithium iron manganese phosphate, and ternary lithium. The dual-motor model provides 158 kW (212 hp) for the front motor and 227 kW for the rear motor, paired with ternary lithium battery packs. Depending on the trim, battery capacities range from 79.9 kWh to 97.6 kWh, offering CLTC cruising ranges of 665 km, 672 km, 721 km, and 816 km.
