The Roewe D5X is not the kind of SUV you fully understand from a short city drive. To see what it can really do, we took it on a proper UAE road trip, from Dubai to Khor Fakkan, Hatta, Al Ain, Jebel Hafeet, Abu Dhabi, and back.
The goal was simple: test the D5X on real roads, across highways, mountain routes, city streets, and long-distance driving conditions. With up to 1,300 km of total range and up to 120 km of pure EV driving, the Roewe D5X brings plug-in hybrid flexibility to a market where families need one car that can handle daily use and weekend adventures.
This was not a normal review. It was a full road trip experience to see how the D5X handles comfort, efficiency, range confidence, and practicality across the UAE.
