Tank 300 SUV in-depth Walkaround The Tank 300, a mid-size SUV, has been in production since 2020 by Great Wall Motors. Initially marketed under the Wey premium brand as the Wey Tank 300, the vehicle underwent a name change in April 2021, now simply known as the Tank 300. Regarding its powertrain, the Tank 300 offers both petrol and hybrid options. The petrol variant is equipped with a 2.0 L GW4C20NT turbo I4 engine, while the hybrid version utilizes a 3-in-1 motor drive system (300 HEV), combining an electric motor with the traditional engine. The power output of the hybrid drivetrain is rated at 167 kW (224 hp; 227 PS). In terms of transmission, the Tank 300 features an 8-speed ZF 8HP automatic gearbox. However, the hybrid version, 300 HEV, comes with a 9-speed 9HAT automatic transmission. As for its dimensions, the Tank 300 has a wheelbase of 2,750 mm (108.3 in), a length of 4,760 mm (187.4 in), a width of 1,930 mm (76.0 in), and a height of 1,927 mm (75.9 in).
