For the 2015 Peugeot 3008, the fuel gauge was previously inaccurate, and the fuel tank got dented. After replacing the charcoal canister and the gray filter, the fuel gauge is still not accurate, sometimes showing more and sometimes less.

Possible reasons for the acceleration issue with your 2014 2.5 4WD Renault Koleos could include: 1. Engine issues such as clogged fuel injectors or a dirty air filter. 2. Transmission problems affecting power delivery. 3. Faulty sensors like the mass airflow sensor or oxygen sensor. 4. Exhaust system blockage. 5. Fuel system issues impacting fuel economy and power. It's recommended to have a professional mechanic diagnose the problem for an accurate solution.

Dear car enthusiasts, my little lion is a 2015 Peugeot 3008 premium version, and recently the fuel consumption is quite high at 11.6. It struggles to accelerate to around 80 km/h, even when I floor the accelerator. Does anyone know what might be causing this?

Is it normal for a 2010 automatic 1.6L Peugeot to consume over 1 RMB per kilometer? With an 8-bar fuel gauge, each bar only covers 50 kilometers. Any thoughts, folks?

2018 model, two-door F56, there is a continuous and noticeable thumping sound from the right rear of the vehicle at idle. I've checked it myself, and when I unscrew the fuel cap, the sound stops immediately. Once I put it back on, it starts again after a while. If I cover the fuel cap with my hand, the sound stops right away, but once I remove my hand, it starts again. I suspect it has something to do with a component related to the fuel tank, perhaps the charcoal canister or the fuel tank vent? Anyone knowledgeable can help? I feel like I'm close to solving the problem, can someone assist?

Since I got the car, I’ve driven it a few times on intercity highways and elevated city roads. At first, fuel consumption was quite high — around 12 L/100 km — but after some regular use, it dropped to 7.8. It hasn’t gone any lower since then, even though I’ve only driven about 500 km in less than a month. Honestly, every time I refuel, it stings a little 😅. This is my first car, so I don’t have much to compare it to, but driving feels smooth overall. Once you hit 100 km/h, tire noise becomes noticeable, but throttle response during overtaking is pretty decent. The thing that annoyed me most is the infotainment system. There’s no built-in CarPlay, so I bought an external adapter. While it technically works, Bluetooth is unstable, and the navigation voice won’t come through the car speakers. On top of that, the system randomly activates and starts saying weird things, and the voice assistant sometimes greets you with “Hi” and other times with “I’m here” — honestly, it feels awkward. I’m not sure if all Japanese brands do this, or just this one. As for interior space, the rear seat area is quite good, but the new car smell is still strong, so I’ve thrown in a bunch of charcoal bags to absorb it. Overall, I’m satisfied for a first car, but there are definitely things that could be better.
