I just went out for a drive, and it seems like there's a problem on the way back. Is there anyone who knows about cars that can listen and tell if it's an engine issue? It's the holiday season, how should I fix it? (Mainly worried about further driving damaging the engine.) The specific situation is that on the way back, there was a noise indicating a fault, but no warning light came on. Then during two turns, the steering suddenly locked and the car stalled. Since I wasn't far from home, I drove a bit more and parked at home.

I was thinking about getting it back then but didn't make a move. What's the situation now? Is it still a good idea to get it, or is there a risk of it failing?
I'm considering buying a used diesel Grand Cherokee with a budget of around 150,000. My budget is limited, and as a working-class individual, I'm considering diesel for its fuel efficiency. I'm currently driving a 2.0T Mondeo, and the fuel consumption for commuting is 11 liters per 100 km. My concern is that some people say diesel engines are unstable and have high maintenance costs later on. My driving scenario is mainly commuting to work, with a daily round trip of 20 km. I’m also thinking about long-distance travel with my family during holidays. I’d love to hear from actual owners about their experiences and what I should pay attention to when making a choice. Thank you very much.
4Hey guys, is the new 212 reliable or not? Why is there no information about it? The test models online say there will be changes, but I feel the improvements shown so far aren't enough. I really hope it takes off.
5The engine warning light came on after driving over 10,000 kilometers, right when it was time for maintenance. The service station checked and found the gas cap wasn't properly sealed, and they reset the computer. However, the yellow light came back on in less than half a month. The service station is too far away, and I don't have time to go there. Does anyone know what the problem might be? Any help would be appreciated.
6Today, while driving, the engine warning light suddenly came on. No other lights were on, but I felt the engine trembling and it lacked power. After driving for about 150 meters, during idling at a red light, the engine vibration was quite noticeable. When the light turned green and I accelerated, the trembling became more pronounced and it lacked acceleration. I pulled over immediately, waited for about 10 minutes, and after restarting, everything was back to normal. I restarted a few times afterward and everything was fine. The last time I started the car, I drove a few kilometers home and it was normal too. Has anyone experienced this issue? Does anyone know what might be going on?
7Hey buddy, how's the diesel Prado? I've heard that the diesel quality back home isn't great, so I'm worried about getting a diesel and running into problems.
8Hey everyone, I test drove the 2021 model today. While sitting in the back, the tire noise was quite noticeable. During the drive, the engine noise wasn't loud, but there was a bit of wind noise at 60 km/h. Can anyone tell me if the 2023 model has significantly improved sound insulation compared to the 2021 model?
9Hey folks, planning a two-month road trip starting from the National Day holiday. If I get a flat tire along the way, what should I do? My Peugeot 2008 doesn't have a spare tire. What's all that stuff under the trunk for?
10I went to the Toyota 4S store yesterday to check out this car. The exterior and interior are both acceptable. I'm just a bit concerned about one thing: the particulate filter is located in the middle section of the exhaust, which is a bit far from the engine. Theoretically, since it's a naturally aspirated hybrid engine, the operating temperature is lower and the filter is farther from the engine. Wouldn't the particulate filter be more prone to clogging? What do you experts think about this issue?
