Hey everyone, I test drove the 2021 model today. While sitting in the back, the tire noise was quite noticeable. During the drive, the engine noise wasn't loud, but there was a bit of wind noise at 60 km/h. Can anyone tell me if the 2023 model has significantly improved sound insulation compared to the 2021 model?

When driving a 206 with a 1.6 automatic transmission, whether on the highway or at low speeds, the engine noise becomes very loud once the RPM exceeds 2800. There's a buzzing sound inside the cabin that is even louder than the wind noise—it's really loud! When the car is idling after warming up, there's a noticeable vibration if you hold the steering wheel or sit in the seat. What could be causing this? Looking for guidance from experts!
I just went out for a drive, and it seems like there's a problem on the way back. Is there anyone who knows about cars that can listen and tell if it's an engine issue? It's the holiday season, how should I fix it? (Mainly worried about further driving damaging the engine.) The specific situation is that on the way back, there was a noise indicating a fault, but no warning light came on. Then during two turns, the steering suddenly locked and the car stalled. Since I wasn't far from home, I drove a bit more and parked at home.
I've driven my father's manual Volkswagen Santana for over 10 years. It's quite durable, performs well on the highway, and the wind noise insulation is decent. It hasn't had any major issues. I'm planning to switch to an SUV to experience driving one. I want to ask T-Cross owners: Is the T-Cross reliable? How is the driving experience on the highway, and what about the wind noise insulation?
41. Is it normal for the acceleration of the HiPhi Z model to be very slow, taking about 10 seconds to reach 100, when the battery is around 15%? 2. Is it normal for there to be noticeable wind noise inside the car when driving at speed? Asking fellow car enthusiasts for some answers. 🙏
5Guys, can you help with my question? Has the highway noise reduction improved on the 2024 Wrangler? Is it a significant improvement? I've heard from owners of older models that the noise is quite scary, and even the passenger has to shout to talk. Is that true? I'm thinking about getting the Sahara, but I'm worried about the hard seats and whether my wife and kids will be uncomfortable in the backseat. 😢
6I test-drove the 23 model today, and the suspension was quite shaky, which made me feel carsick. Has the 25 model been improved? Can someone share their insights? [Facepalm]

8I have a 2021 model Santana. When I'm driving between 50 to 60 km/h, the gear is in 5th, but the display shows 2nd or 3rd gear. However, the 2nd and 3rd gears seem to be neutral. What's going on?
9Does the G80 have any interior odors? I used to drive an XC60, and it didn't have any smell at all—the cabin was very comfortable. However, Volvo's soundproofing isn't great. I took a ride in a car-hailing service today, and there was an indescribable odor inside the car. Not sure if it was a plastic smell or something else, but even though it was faint, it made sitting inside uncomfortable. I don't know how the driver tolerates it. I test drove the G80 and noticed a bit of a smell, but it wasn't unpleasant. It definitely can't compare to a new Volvo. I'm curious if the smell will still be there after one or two months. With my previous XC60, even after being parked under the sun, there was no noticeable odor inside. Any G80 owners care to share their experience?
10I bought the new Toyota Corolla 1.2T. The engine has 116 horsepower—not super powerful, but its performance is better than I expected, especially when you push it. The CVT gearbox is smooth, though there are occasional slight jerks. In terms of comfort, it’s pretty good. The suspension absorbs big bumps well, but you do feel the smaller ones a bit. The driving is stable, the steering is light and responsive, and the brakes are solid. Wind noise is well-insulated, but tire noise becomes very noticeable at high speeds. The interior feels a bit outdated, with lots of plastic materials. The screen is weak, runs the old system, and is barely backlit. Front space is fine, but the back is a bit cramped. The trunk has a decent amount of space. It comes with a full set of safety features, but no parking sensors! The bottom line? It’s a practical, reliable car—great for people who aren’t looking for fancy tech but want something dependable and easy to drive.
