I have an HS7 at home. I'm considering buying a new energy SUV. I don't go out often, but when I do, it's usually a long trip (at least 2 hours). My friends have recommended brands like Li Auto, NIO, and AITO, but I'm thinking about the HS9. However, I've heard it doesn't have a good reputation. I'm here to seek advice on the following aspects and would appreciate genuine feedback and evaluations: charging speed, charging pile installation, material quality, human-vehicle interaction, intelligence, maintenance, and actual range. Thank you, everyone.

The negative reviews mainly focus on two points: the in-car system and the range. For the in-car system, just assume it doesn't exist and only rely on the rearview camera. As for the range, assume it's the worst and cut it in half. (It's rare for a car's range to be less than half of the advertised.) If you're okay with this, go ahead and place your order!

You can buy all the models you mentioned, including Hongqi. It just depends on which one you like.

I can usually drive about 460 km on the highway with the EHS-9, and around 360 km in the winter. It mainly depends on how convenient charging is in your area and how long you plan to keep the car. If charging is convenient and you don't plan to sell it within a few years, just go for it! 😁

I've been considering getting a Haval H7 recently, but I've seen a lot of negative reviews online. I'm not sure if these are genuine feedback or just haters. Is this car really a gas guzzler? What kind of fuel consumption can I expect in the city?

I'm interested in getting the T8 4WD. How's the quality? I'm considering it because of the JAC chassis and engine. Any feedback from those who have already bought it? 🙏

I've been driving the T8PRO diesel 4WD for less than half a year, and it's been having engine emission issues all the time! I have to go to the service center at least once a week for diagnostics. I'm wondering if this problem can't be permanently fixed...

Taycan owners, I have a question about a feature. As you might know, in the Taycan's triple display, the middle one shows the speed by default, and when the power meter is checked, it shows acceleration and energy recovery levels—blue for acceleration and green for recovery. In my car, with the default set to normal mode, when I press the accelerator, the blue bar shows up normally. However, when I press the brake, the green bar doesn't show at all, although the car brakes fine. Does this mean my braking relies solely on mechanical brakes without energy recovery? Is there a way to set it so the green bar shows normally when braking? I'm sincerely asking for advice, thanks everyone!

Have you ever experienced the charging process suddenly stopping halfway? I've encountered this several times recently. Sometimes it stops just after charging a few kilowatt-hours, other times it stops at 80% or even at 90%... I'm not sure what's causing it.

Off-road learning question: Do we have any experienced off-roaders here who can recommend which off-road tires to choose? I've been looking at the Cooper AT3 XLT, but I'm not sure about the real feedback after installing them.

I need some guidance from the experts. I'm new to cars and currently, my family doesn't own one. My husband works nearby, but I commute 40 kilometers to the suburbs for work every day. We live in an old neighborhood without home charging facilities, and I'm thinking of buying a new energy vehicle. I've had my license for six years but haven't driven much. I liked the appearance of the Zeekr X but heard the rear space is small. Personally, I like Zeekr and Ora, and I'm also considering Deepal. I'm really confused and don't know which car to buy. Any advice from the experts would be appreciated.

After 8 years with my old petrol car, it started burning oil, and I noticed a lot of people around me were switching to electric vehicles. That got me thinking. I was originally planning to get the top-spec Tank 300 (Menglong), and during the National Day holiday I went for a test drive — it met my expectations. On the way back, I stopped by a Jetour dealership and saw the T2. My daughter instantly fell in love with the exterior and interior — it completely overshadowed the Menglong in her eyes. Looks clearly played a big role, and after a test drive, it felt good enough. Since I don’t really need 4WD for daily driving, I booked it right away. Looking back now, I do wish I had waited for the 4WD version — a bit more power would’ve been nice. For this type of vehicle, electric power saves a lot. For daily use, my cost is just around 0.10 AED/km (charging at home on off-peak rates of 3.3 AED/kWh). My daily round-trip to work is under 20 km, so I only charge every four days, when the battery hits around 20%.For long-distance trips, I don’t bother with charging — it’s too much hassle. I just set the car to preserve 60% battery and drive on petrol. Even if fuel consumption is slightly higher, it’s fine since I only do a few road trips per year. The car is heavy and feels solid on the road. Acceleration is decent, but the 4WD version definitely would’ve offered better power and confidence. I’ve had the car for over half a year now. So far, the only issue has been a slight noise from the steering system — which was fixed. Other than that, no major problems. Buying a car always involves a bit of luck anyway. The biggest downside is the driver assistance system — it lags behind the competition. The infotainment system has improved a bit with the latest 4.11 update, but it still has room for improvement.Overall, I’m quite satisfied. Compared to many newer EV startups, Chery is an established brand. The lifetime warranty adds a lot of peace of mind, especially on the powertrain and electric components.
