The screen was working fine until the afternoon, but after being exposed to the sun all day, it started to malfunction. What can I do to fix the screen issue without replacing the car stereo? I'm concerned about the repair cost being too high. Is there a way to fix it myself?

The loudspeakers in my RDX are making a popping sound and sometimes they fail. Previously, there was an occasional popping sound when starting the car cold, but recently it happens every time I start the car. The car's Bluetooth seems to be working fine, and the screen shows that music is playing, but there's no sound. Sometimes restarting the car fixes it, but sometimes it doesn't. This is happening more frequently now. Has anyone else experienced this? What could be the issue?
I bought a second-hand 2014 Kia Sportage, and the exhaust smells really bad. I hadn't driven it on the highway before, but a few days ago I did, and the engine warning light came on. The check indicated an issue with the oxygen sensor. After replacing it, the error code was cleared, but a few days later it came on again. It seems fine when not driving on the highway, but as soon as I do, the light comes on and stays on. Can any experts advise on how to fix this issue?
Hey fellow car enthusiasts, does anyone else have issues with their Haval H7 keyless entry being inconsistent? Sometimes it works fine, but other times it's unreliable. Especially on rainy days, it often doesn't work.
4Jetur X70, 2020 model. I started having a coolant leak, and when pressure was applied, the leak point was found. The four-way valve was replaced, and the heating pipe and water inlet pipe were tightened. It was also discovered that the water pump was leaking, and eventually, everything was replaced. However, after refilling the coolant, the mechanic found that the engine temperature was high, but it drops as soon as the heater is turned on. They spent half a day but couldn't find the problem, and the car not being fixed has caused a lot of issues. Have you encountered this before? How did you handle it?

6Can version 3.1.9 be upgraded? It seems that versions 3.0.3 and 3.1.2 were pulled back just a few days after their release. Version 3.1.10 was just released a couple of days ago and hasn't been pushed out yet. Currently, version 3.1.9 is being pushed in China. In the U.S., 3.1.9 was pushed out in early July, and it has been available in Europe for about a week. According to U.S. car enthusiasts on forums, some vehicles experienced a flickering issue with the 360-degree surround view in versions 3.0.3 and 3.1.2, where the screen would briefly go black and then light up again. After upgrading to 3.1.9, the issue was significantly alleviated during the first week, with flickering still occurring but only going black for 0.2 seconds and then automatically recovering, not affecting usability. However, the results after one week were not satisfactory, with the 360-degree surround view showing more frequent "camera unavailable" warnings than before, still severely affecting use. Yet, some car owners reported never encountering this issue (even with the problematic 3.x versions), so it might be related to a specific batch of parts or the vehicle's personalized settings. Have car owners in China noticed this issue after upgrading, or are there any other problems?
7Skoda Octavia Pro's large screen keeps rebooting automatically even when the car is locked and powered off. Is there any way to fix this?
8After 8 years with my old petrol car, it started burning oil, and I noticed a lot of people around me were switching to electric vehicles. That got me thinking. I was originally planning to get the top-spec Tank 300 (Menglong), and during the National Day holiday I went for a test drive — it met my expectations. On the way back, I stopped by a Jetour dealership and saw the T2. My daughter instantly fell in love with the exterior and interior — it completely overshadowed the Menglong in her eyes. Looks clearly played a big role, and after a test drive, it felt good enough. Since I don’t really need 4WD for daily driving, I booked it right away. Looking back now, I do wish I had waited for the 4WD version — a bit more power would’ve been nice. For this type of vehicle, electric power saves a lot. For daily use, my cost is just around 0.10 AED/km (charging at home on off-peak rates of 3.3 AED/kWh). My daily round-trip to work is under 20 km, so I only charge every four days, when the battery hits around 20%.For long-distance trips, I don’t bother with charging — it’s too much hassle. I just set the car to preserve 60% battery and drive on petrol. Even if fuel consumption is slightly higher, it’s fine since I only do a few road trips per year. The car is heavy and feels solid on the road. Acceleration is decent, but the 4WD version definitely would’ve offered better power and confidence. I’ve had the car for over half a year now. So far, the only issue has been a slight noise from the steering system — which was fixed. Other than that, no major problems. Buying a car always involves a bit of luck anyway. The biggest downside is the driver assistance system — it lags behind the competition. The infotainment system has improved a bit with the latest 4.11 update, but it still has room for improvement.Overall, I’m quite satisfied. Compared to many newer EV startups, Chery is an established brand. The lifetime warranty adds a lot of peace of mind, especially on the powertrain and electric components.
9My Experience with the Nissan Sunny After 7 Years of Ownership I consider myself one of the long-time owners of the Nissan Sunny, and honestly, I can say it’s an ideal car for beginners. It’s easy to drive, very fuel-efficient, compact in size, yet surprisingly spacious inside compared to other cars in its class. While the exterior design isn’t the most attractive, it makes up for it with excellent interior comfort. I’ve had the car for almost 7 years and haven’t faced any major mechanical issues — just regular maintenance. One time, I noticed the passenger-side sun visor wasn’t properly attached to the ceiling, but I hadn't noticed it at delivery. Recently, the driver’s side window auto-up function stopped working — now I have to hold the button manually. At the end of 2020, the original battery started to weaken. It barely started the car in the morning and then failed completely in the afternoon, so I replaced it. To be fair, the battery’s lifespan was impressive compared to other cars — some of my friends replace theirs every year or two. Yes, small Japanese sedans like the Sunny aren’t known for advanced safety features. But I had a minor accident, and the Sunny held up pretty well. I rarely go over 120 km/h, and that speed is more than enough for me. The highway noise is noticeable, which is expected in budget-friendly cars. As for power? It's enough. Perfect for beginners, and even when the car is fully loaded, it still handles daily family use just fine. Conclusion: The Nissan Sunny is practical, economical, and reliable. It's not a luxury car, but it gets the job done — and more. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a simple, affordable car that can last for years, especially new drivers or small families.
10Since the end of last year, I’ve been keeping an eye on the Mercedes E300. Thankfully, I had been working hard on myself and building my own business, and over time, I was able to establish a solid financial foundation. So I decided it was time to reward myself with a car I love—something that would reflect years of effort, while also offering comfort and luxury for me and my family. In March, when Mercedes brought back their offers, I didn’t hesitate—I went ahead and got the car. The young guy at the dealership was respectful and provided excellent service from start to finish. Thankfully, I was able to choose a special license plate number too, and I was very satisfied! Now that I’ve driven it for 2,000 km, I can confidently say: Engine Performance The 2.0L high-power turbo engine performs excellently—even at high speeds. At low speeds in the beginning, you might feel the gear shifts are a bit hesitant, but after that, everything becomes smooth. I pushed it up to around 170 km/h, and the car was stable, with very minimal cabin noise. Handling I’ve owned more than 7 cars in my life, ranging from small economy cars to luxury SUVs, but the E300L really stands out with its balance and control. Driving it is comfortable, the steering is smooth and precise, and above all, you get a real sense of luxury. Mercedes has a kind of prestige that’s hard to describe—you can almost feel it flowing through the car. After a long day at work, you can’t help but relax and drive with ease and confidence. Ride Experience From my perspective, the car is incredibly comfortable. The front seats come with leg extensions, and the center console with its large screens gives off a high-tech vibe. Add to that the 64-color ambient lighting and the insane quality of the Burmester sound system—it's truly something else. The interior design is elegant, simple, and user-friendly, with no clutter or button overload—a testament to Mercedes’ deep design experience. Even the rear seats now have electric adjustments and a leg rest, making the back-seat experience extremely comfortable.
