When purchasing a car, they mentioned a 4,000 RMB discount coupon that required upfront payment and would be refunded later. Have you experienced something similar? How long does it usually take to get refunded? It's been almost six months for me, and I still haven't received the refund.

I own a 2014 SsangYong Korando, 2WD high trim, 2.0 gasoline. Recently, the check engine light occasionally turns on with the error code indicating a misfire in cylinder 1. Sometimes it turns off by itself. I've swapped spark plugs between cylinder 1 and 2, ignition coils between cylinder 1 and 3, and even swapped the injectors. I planned to use elimination to check if it's the injector issue, but after each swap, the misfire code for cylinder 1 still comes back eventually! The engine idles with slight vibrations, but I don't feel any power loss on the highway—it easily goes over 160 km/h. Later, I measured the cylinder pressure: cylinder 1 is at 8 kg, while the others are over 10 kg. After researching online, I suspect it's an exhaust valve issue. Now I'm really torn. Should I just let it be, or go for a major repair? I read online that some people can fix it by opening the cylinder head without removing the engine. But the local big auto shop is no more, and the private mechanic suggests removing the engine, which I really don't want to do—worried it won't fit back as perfectly as the original. It's stressful because I bought this as a first car for my father, who has loved cars all his life, and now this happens. I've been to various places without a clear diagnosis. Some say it's slight cylinder wear, some say valve leakage, and others mention cylinder head design flaws. Any advice from fellow Korando owners on how to solve similar issues would be greatly appreciated!
I went to check out the Lavida Pure Electric with a 346 km range today. The salesperson said the original price was over 140,000 RMB, but after the discount, it's 85,800 RMB. However, they also mentioned an additional charge of 3,000 RMB for the charging station and a combined fee of 2,000 RMB for licensing and service. But SAIC Volkswagen's official customer service said the charging station is supposed to be free. [Shocked] This is quite a trick.
I'm an owner of a 2012 XV and haven't really been to the dealership much. A few days ago, I went to get a small part replaced, and the manager mentioned that there's a recall for this model. It requires replacing the valve springs and brake switch, but it seems too troublesome since it needs the engine to be taken out, so I didn't do it. Has anyone else gone through this? If I don't do it, will there be any impact?

5I want to get a new car for my wife. She's currently driving an IS. After looking at a lot of cars, only the G70 shooting brake seems relatively pleasing. Here are my main concerns: 1. A friend mentioned that there's not much difference between the two cars, and the IS might be slightly better, so it may not be significant. 2. Recently, many car companies are offering discounts and promotions, but the manufacturer currently shows no sign of doing so. 3. Both cars require ordering and production scheduling, which means a long waiting time, making it awkward. 4. Since it's all about ordering and production scheduling, the options and configurations are not flexible enough. 5. I'm worried about their sales and the potential of dealership closures. Have any other car owners faced similar awkward issues? [Facepalm]
6Hey everyone, I've got an issue with my 09 model. Sometimes while driving, there's a sharp "dang dang" sound coming from underneath the car. It comes and goes, and sometimes I can even hear it when idling. The repair shop mentioned it might be the exhaust pipe but then said it doesn't seem like it. They think it might be coming from the bottom of the engine. Have any of you experienced something similar?
7Hey everyone, I bought my car in December 2019. I haven't driven it much in the past two months, and it's been quite rainy. I've noticed some rust in this spot. Does it affect the car? Do I need to address it? Also, when I just started driving, it felt like one of the tires had a bulge, but after checking, all four tires seem fine. Has anyone experienced something similar?
8In the past couple of months, I've experienced my car's system crashing twice. The first time, I had to disconnect the car battery and reset to factory settings to get it back to normal. But after about ten days, it happened again. This time, I didn't do anything, and after letting the car sit for an hour, it started working fine again. I'm not sure if it's a hardware or software issue, as I haven't updated the system for quite some time. Has anyone else experienced something similar?
