Which is better for long-distance driving, the 2006 Liana or the 2008 Liana?

Excuse me, everyone! Are the 1.4L Liana models from around 2015 and the older 1.6L Liana models both equipped with Suzuki's major components? Is there a big difference in fuel consumption between the two? Are there not many issues with either of them?
