When I was driving my Toyota Yizhi with the CVT in D gear and stepped on the gas to 4000 RPM for overtaking, I suddenly felt a lack of power and then it sped up. They say this is the steel belt slipping, and driving like this can damage the transmission. I'm frustrated. What happens when the steel belt slips? Can any experts explain this?
