Rolls-Royce has introduced the Amethyst edition of its ultra-exclusive Droptail model, limited to just four units. This follows the previously released La Rose Noire edition, showcasing the brand's commitment to bespoke luxury.
Elegant Purple Design
The Amethyst edition features a captivating purple exterior with silver accents, polished 22-inch aluminum wheels, and a meticulously hand-painted grille that took over 50 hours to complete.
The vehicle includes a lightweight composite lower front air intake crafted with 3D printing technology, and it boasts unique wooden surfaces that generate downforce, a first in the automotive industry.
The Amethyst also features adjustable tint glass that darkens with a purple touch and an opulent interior with contrasting dark wood and luxurious leather accents.
Performance and Pricing
The Droptail series is powered by a 6.75-liter twin-turbo V12 engine, delivering 593 horsepower and 840 Nm of torque, allowing for acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in under 5 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h.
While Rolls-Royce has not disclosed official pricing, estimates suggest a starting price of around 25 million dollars (approximately 94 million Riyals) for each Droptail unit, comparable to the 28 million dollar price tag of the Rolls-Royce Boat Tail.
