MG has officially announced that the Cyberster will be powered by two electric motors generating a total of 536 horsepower and 725 Nm of torque, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds with an all-wheel-drive system.
The car will feature a 77 kWh battery offering a range of approximately 580 kilometers on a single charge, an impressive figure for an electric sports car.
Insights from Chinese Government Leaks
Previous leaks revealed that the MG Cyberster has a weight of 1984 kilograms due to its battery. MG is also planning to offer a lighter rear-wheel-drive version later, equipped with a single electric motor exceeding 300 horsepower.
The vehicle will come with high-performance Brembo brakes, and MG has collaborated with Formula 1 engineer Marco Fainello to refine mechanical details and enhance aerodynamics.
Pricing Information
While pricing details remain unclear, the MG Cyberster is expected to start at around $33,000 (approximately 124,000 SAR) in China, making it a competitively priced electric sports car. Prices in global markets may vary.
