The twin-turbo V-8 is a 4.0-litre engine powered by an electric motor. The combination of the two gives the Bentley Continental GT a maximum power of 771 hp, making it the most powerful road-going Continental GT to date.
This powertrain is a direct replacement for the Continental's 6.0-litre W-12 engine, which makes up to 650 hp; the previous non-hybrid V-8 has been phased out, although a lower trim level may be added at a later date, and this powertrain will likely be followed by a tuned version.
