The 2025 Chevrolet Silverado EV gets a range increase for the 2025 model year, a new Standard Pack on the base WT, and it adds an LT grade positioned between the fleet-oriented Work Truck and top-of-the-line RST models, Chevy disclosed Monday.
Pricing starts at $57,095 for Work Trucks with the Standard Range battery pack (all prices include a $2,095 destination charge). New this year, that 119-kwh battery pack won't be available "later in the model year" and Chevy did not provide a range estimate.
Range improvements come via optimization of components ranging from motors and inverters to the truck's aerodynamic features, Chevy spokesperson Shad Balch told The Car Connection. They yield a maximum 492 miles of range for the Silverado EV Work Truck with the largest 205-kwh Max Range Battery Pack—up from 450 miles on the 2024 Silverado EV 4WT. That pack is about the same size as the one in the GMC Hummer EV.
The difference from last year is that the 3WT only came with the Extended Range pack rated at 170 kwh and 422 miles of estimated range. It costs $69,495. The WT powertrain is rated at 510 hp and 580 lb-ft of torque.
The 205-kwh Max Range pack has an estimated range of 492 miles and it costs $77,795 on the base 3WT, we believe. Buyers may qualify for the full $7,500 tax credit at the point of sale, pending income levels.

The new-for-2025 Chevrolet Silverado EV LT is available only with the Extended Range pack, and gets an estimated 408 miles of range in standard form or 390 miles with the optional Premium Package. That package includes 22-inch wheels in place of the standard 18s, which may contribute to the drop in range. It also includes the Super Cruise driver-assist system, and a mid-gate pass-through.
The Premium Package's features are in addition to a standard Multi-Flex reconfigurable tailgate, 17.7-inch infotainment touchscreen, and 11.3-inch digital instrument cluster. Chevy claims certain Silverado EV models can DC fast charge at up to 350 kw, but lists a 300-kw maximum for the LT.
The LT model is priced at $75,195, with the Premium Package adding $6,800 to that.
In LT models, the Silverado EV's dual-motor all-wheel drive powertrain is rated at 645 hp and 765 lb-ft of torque when the Wide Open Watts (WOW) performance mode is engaged). That enables a 12,500-pound towing capacity and 1,800-pound payload capacity.

Speaking of the RST, this version now offers 460 miles with the Max Range battery pack and 390 miles with the Extended Range pack. It previously maxed out at 440 miles. When equipped with the largest battery pack, the Silverado EV RST makes 760 hp and 785 lb-ft.
RST models cost $89,395 with the Extended Range pack and $97,895 with the Max Range pack.
Most versions are expected to arrive at dealerships before the end of the calendar year, with the entry-level Silverado EV Work Truck Standard Range following sometime after that.
