Ford has opened reservations for the 2025 F-150 Series Super Duty trucks, starting at $45,300 for the F-250 model. The starting price for the F-350 is $46,595. These price increases are $330 and $580 respectively. While no one likes price increases, the F-250 is priced lower than the 2025 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD. However, the Silverado 3500 HD is $95 cheaper than the F-350.
So what’s new for 2025? Not much has changed since the trucks just underwent a comprehensive update in 2023. However, there are various updates related to design, equipment, and details. The popularity of luxury trucks has surged, and Ford is looking to capitalize by offering a new Platinum Plus package. This package adds a satin-finish front grille with bright chrome accents along with an exclusive Smoked Truffle interior. The new package features maximum recline seats covered in perforated leather with French stitching. The model also comes with a 7.2-kilowatt Pro Power Onboard system.
The standard Platinum version includes body-colored door handles and a black-painted grille with matching rear embroidery. Inside, there is a new black interior with platinum blue accents. For the lower Lariat versions, they come with ActiveX upholstery and a steering wheel matching the upholstery, along with a fixed rear window featuring special glass and defrosting functionality.
It seems the Limited edition has been discontinued as it is not available in any of the three models, whether F-250, 350, or 450. The top model starts at $97,095 for the F-250 and goes up to $104,030 for the F-450. Additional changes are limited, but buyers will find two new colors known as Avanch and Metallic Ruby Red, along with an updated black package that merges with previous black color packs and a sporty design package.
Additionally, the highlights include the new Ford Pro Vehicle Integration System 2.0, with new towing technology packages that include a combination of an auxiliary camera and a trailer tire pressure monitoring system.
XL, XLT, and Lariat versions rely on a 6.8-liter V8 engine that produces 405 horsepower and 603 Nm of torque. The 7.3-liter V8 engine is still available, but is now limited to King Ranch and Platinum versions with an output of 430 horsepower and 657 Nm of torque. All versions offer a 6.7-liter diesel engine producing 475 horsepower and 1422 Nm of torque, which can rise to 500 horsepower and 1625 Nm of torque.
