- Unique and Innovative Touches
At Monterey Car Week, Cadillac captured attention with the debut of its new concept car, the Elevated Velocity, a more advanced and refined evolution of last year’s Opulent Velocity model. This futuristic crossover not only introduces a bold new design language but also reflects the brand’s vision to push boundaries in the high performance segment while exploring possibilities for off road capability.
Exterior Design Blending Luxury and Boldness
Cadillac designed the Elevated Velocity concept with a philosophy that balances modern elegance and a strong, powerful presence. The front fascia replaces the traditional black grille with a body colored panel, giving the SUV a unified and refined look.
Vertical lighting elements emphasize sophistication and luxury.
Smooth side curves and streamlined surfaces highlight fluidity and modernity.
Striking gullwing doors and massive 24 inch wheels add a strong sporty character.
Blue tinted glass with Mondrian inspired patterns complements the unique Vibour Blue paint.
Protective cladding details enhance toughness and reflect off road readiness.
At the rear, the SUV stands out with slim elegant taillights, a large diffuser, and a narrow rear window reminiscent of armored vehicle viewports, creating a distinctive and aggressive finish.
Interior with a Different Concept
From the moment the wing doors open, the cabin reveals an unconventional experience, presenting a 2+2 layout wrapped in premium Nappa leather in Murillo red, combined with cherry and sapphire fabrics for a rich appearance.
Screens are distributed in unexpected places, with one integrated into the steering wheel and another crystal inspired display positioned on the center console.
The Elevate Mode transforms the car into a fully autonomous vehicle, making the pedals and steering wheel disappear while turning the cabin into a relaxation lounge.
The interior is equipped with red light therapy, a breathing coach, and an air purification and fragrance system to enhance comfort.
Activating Velocity Mode brings the steering wheel back, displaying driving data such as speed, time, and battery status, along with augmented reality navigation.
Imagined Performance Close to a Hypercar
Although official figures on power or acceleration are still missing, Cadillac confirmed that the Elevated Velocity envisions the future with an all wheel drive system powered by dual electric motors, capable of delivering performance that rivals hypercars.
The vehicle offers special modes for challenging terrains, most notably Terra Mode, which increases ground clearance.
It introduces Sand Vision technology that enhances visibility in harsh sandstorm conditions.
Cadillac developed a self cleaning body system that uses dust repelling vibrations to keep the exterior shining even in the toughest environments.
Unique and Innovative Touches
Alongside its futuristic technologies, Cadillac decided to add exceptional lifestyle details, introducing an interior bag finished in the same exterior paint color that includes a premium polo set.
The bag features a helmet, gloves, knee pads, and a mallet.
These additions reflect the same creative spirit showcased in last year’s Celestiq Soleil concept.
With this bold vision, Cadillac emphasizes that its future will not be limited to luxury alone. It also aims to embrace thrilling performance and unconventional technology, while catering to the desires of car enthusiasts worldwide, especially in the GCC region where demand for premium cars that combine innovation with power continues to grow.
