Al Tayer Motors has launched the all-new Deepal S05 electric SUV in the UAE market, making it the second model from Deepal—a sub-brand of China’s Changan—introduced within just four months, following the larger S07. The Deepal S05 is available in the UAE with two main versions:
Fully Electric Version (EV): Offers a driving range of up to 460 kilometers on a single charge, making it a practical choice for daily commutes and longer trips both within and outside the city.
Range-Extended Electric Version (REEV): Combines an electric motor with a 160 km pure electric range and a 1.5-liter gasoline engine that acts solely as a generator (not for propulsion), bringing the total driving range to over 900 km. This provides users with greater flexibility for long journeys without worrying about running out of charge.
