    On October 20, 2023, the Deepal S05 was officially launched. This new vehicle offers six different variants, including four pure electric versions and two extended range versions. The vehicles are available for immediate delivery upon market launch, demonstrating a quick response to market demands. The car is manufactured on the Deepal G318 platform, featuring a rear-drive single motor power system, with an adjustable flexible body, front MacPherson independent suspension, and rear five-link suspension, with a near 50:50 load distribution, ensuring excellent stability and control.

    Furthermore, the S05 comes standard with L2-level autonomous driving across all models, equipped with advanced technical features such as an intelligent driving cockpit, million-pixel DEEPAL smart lighting, and DEEPAL 4K smart cameras. In terms of smart interaction, the S05 is equipped with a DEEPAL 4K Smart Gimbal camera, boasting 48 million pixels, a 120-degree rotation angle, a 180-degree field of view, and integrated electronic image stabilization. Additionally, it contains 64GB of storage, capable of storing approximately 21,000 photos or 12 hours of video.

    The vehicle also features Huawei's million-pixel smart light and shadow headlights and the DEEPAL 4K smart camera. The intelligent light and shadow front headlights offer a resolution of 1.3 million pixels, capable of displaying a 120-inch image, and are combined with two external sound systems of 25 watts each, providing a comprehensive audio and video experience. Additionally, it assists in night driving, offering functions such as narrow road display indicators, steering assistance, and high beam enhancement.

    In terms of the intelligent driving cockpit, the S05 is equipped with a 15.4-inch central control screen that supports up to 15 degrees of rotation to the left and right, a 50-inch AR-HUD, a sound system comprising 14 speakers, and an AI voice functionality for the front passenger seat. It also supports four-zone control. Furthermore, it comes with five high-definition cameras, 5mm wave radars, and 12 ultrasonic radars, allowing for full-speed adaptive cruise control, lane keeping, and automatic parking functionalities.

    The car measures 4620mm in length, 1900mm in width, and 1600mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2880mm and a wheelbase-to-length ratio of 0.623. The pure electric version offers a massive front trunk capacity of 159 liters and a rear trunk capacity of 492 liters.

    In terms of design, the side of the vehicle features a double-line design that is lower in the front and higher in the back, giving it a dynamic appearance. The front of the car relies on smart headlights shaped like wings, inspired by the unique design of aircraft wings.

    The vehicle employs a single motor rear drive system, with an approximately 50:50 load distribution, and an independent five-link rear suspension. The overall driving experience provides agile and precise steering. The vehicle responds quickly when turning on mountain roads, with excellent lateral support. In terms of power, the extended range version of the Deepal S05 relies on a 1.5-liter engine with a maximum power of 72 kW. The drive motor has a maximum power of 160 kW, and the battery capacity is 27.28 kWh. According to CLTC standards, the pure electric range is 200 kilometers, with a combined range of 1234 kilometers, and fuel consumption of 4.35 liters per 100 kilometers when the battery is depleted. The pure electric version features a maximum power of 175 kW and a battery capacity of 56.12 kWh, with a pure electric range of 510 kilometers and supports 3C fast charging, adding 255 kilometers of range with just 15 minutes of charging.
