The Jetour T2 has amazed us all with its off-road capabilities while remaining a luxurious daily driver. Named by many the "Chinese Defender," Jetour T2 has now a facelifted version in China. The T2, named Traveller in China, has received some updates, but what are they? At first glance, they might not be obvious, so let’s explore them together.
What’s New for 2025?
The Jetour T2 in China has received several updates, including two new paint options: Glacier White and Evergreen. Interestingly, I haven’t seen the white version in our market yet, so it would be exciting to have this color available, along with the green. If you check the dealer’s website in UAE, you’ll find that the color is now available!
Other exterior upgrades include a champagne gold trim package, crystal chrome Jetour badging, a Velvet Gray hood handle, and newly designed 18-inch alloy wheels.
Inside the cabin, updates include redesigned air vents, an updated key fob, and improved infotainment and voice control systems. The latest infotainment system updates will be available to the owners via an over-the-air (OTA) update.
Performance & Off-Roading Capabilities
The engine options remain unchanged. In the UAE and other Arab markets, the Jetour T2 is available with a 2.0L turbocharged engine, mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) and all-wheel drive (AWD). It delivers 390 Nm of torque, ensuring a smooth and efficient driving experience.
Size-wise, the Jetour T2 measures 4,785 mm in length with a 2,800 mm wheelbase, providing a spacious interior. Its off-road capabilities are impressive, with approach, departure, and break-over angles of 39°, 30°, and 25°, respectively, allowing it to tackle rough terrains with ease.
