Lexus achieved another record year of global sales in 2024, with 851,214 units sold for the year, realizing a 3.3 percent increase over the previous year. This result was driven by strong demand in North America and Europe, as well as a gradual recovery in parts availability, which contributed to the overall continued climb in global sales.
In terms of models, the newly launched LBX and LM are highly acclaimed in the market and have become popular choices sought after by consumers.
Meanwhile, the RX and NX, the core models of Lexus, continued to perform well. In addition, the battery electric vehicle (BEV) series, such as the “RZ” and “UX300e,” achieved 119% year-on-year growth, boosting the share of electrified models (including pure-electric, hybrid, and plug-in hybrid) in Lexus sales to a record high of 52% for the first time.
